The LIT Leadership Academy (LITLA) offers a comprehensive virtual training and development experience through four unique program areas:

• Making of an Executive
• Leading in Middle Management
• New Careers in Transit
• Transit Board Leadership

Participants gain a deep understanding of public transportation, including management practices, finance, procurement, labor relations, and regulatory compliance. Each program area consists of five monthly modules (3.5 hours each), taught virtually by industry leaders. To graduate, participants must attend the Leadership Summit to give an in-person presentation of their capstone projects. The academy concludes with a graduation ceremony during the summit.
