Latinos In Transit, New Mexico Transit Association Join Forces to Foster Collaboration in Transportation

Covina, CA, February 2024 – Latinos In Transit (LIT), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and the New Mexico Transit Association (NMTA) are excited to announce a strategic partnership dedicated to advancing community engagement and workforce development within the public transit industry.

"Our collective efforts in the advancement and development of industry professionals have the power to create positive change in the transportation industry,” said LIT President Herold Humphrey.

The collaboration reflects activities such as developing programs, content and speakers for conferences, meetings and webinars; promote events and news to each membership base; participate in meetings and events; and cooperate on identifying and developing potential solutions to transportation-related issues, among others.

Both LIT and NMTA share common objectives, such as contributing to the future of transportation through professional development, providing leadership in the global transportation community, and shaping the next generation of transportation leaders.
